Nude photos of Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence have been leaked online by a hacker who claimed to have a "master list" of images of 100 other starlets.

A representative for the star of "The Hunger Games" confirmed the photos of Lawrence were real and blasted the hacker for "a flagrant violation of privacy," adding, "The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."

The photos, which originally were posted on the image-sharing site 4chan, were purportedly obtained through a weakness in Apple’s iCloud online storage system, and a purported "master list" of the hacking victims includes the names of dozens of female stars, including Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Mary-Kate Olsen, according to BuzzFeed.

It is not clear how many of the images are authentic, though "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World" star Winstead took to Twitter to denounce the hack as well.

"To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves," Winstead tweeted.

However, Victoria Justice, of the Nickolodeon series "iCarly" and "Victorious," denied that the photos were of her, tweeting, "These so called nudes of me are FAKE people. Let me nip this in the bud right now. *pun intended*." Buzzfeed reported late Sunday that a spokesman for pop star Ariana Grande denied that purported photos of her were authentic.

Jill Scott responds to nude photo leak

Jill Scott took to Twitter Wednesday night to address a flurry of nude photo scandal reports.

The soul singer became a trending topic on Twitter after supposed naked selfies started making the rounds in the wake of this week's Hollywood hack.

It's unclear whether Scott was part of the larger leak, but she did confirm that one of the shots circulating online is of her: "I def took the 1st pic w/ a robe; weight loss chronicle but the 2nd, sorry freaks, is not me. I wish I had that space between my thighs."

Several stars' accounts have been compromised, including Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton. Dozens of private, nude photographs were said to be accessed from phones and leaked online.

The FBI has launched investigation, saying it's "aware of the allegations concerning computer intrusions and the unlawful release of material involving high profile individuals, and is addressing the matter."

Runway models:

Celebs like Kendall Jenner are taking work from us

Celebs have already replaced models on most fashion magazine covers

– could fashion runways next?

Kendall Jenner is primed to be the “It” model at New York Fashion Week, which

kicked off Thursday at Lincoln Center in New York City. Which means models at

some of the week’s biggest, highest paying shows will be supplanted by

Kim Kardashian’s little sister.

Which makes some of those models mad.

“Unfortunately, it affects non-celebrity models by taking away paying jobs and

great opportunities for non-celebrity models to succeed in their career,” Sierra Illig,

a model with MSA Model Management, told FOX411. “It is hard to see our modeling

jobs being handed over so quickly to celebrities simply because of their fame,

familiar face, and Hollywood connections.”

Click Model Management Director Harold Mindel agrees.

“It takes a spot away from a model that isn’t a reality show star,” Mindel said.

“The fact that she’s Kim Kardashian’s sister, and Kanye West’s sis in law, and went

to Valentino’s house, and that Kim Kardashian was wearing a Givenchy. Well,

put it together.”

Would Kendall even have a chance to fill that void if she wasn’t Kim’s little sister? Maybe not.

Casey, the president and owner of modeling agency Maggie, Inc, says: “NYFW is about getting press and attention. It is a bit more difficult for regular models to hit the household name status, so that celebrity a la Kendall Jenner is filling that void.”

But while Jenner may be in-demand in New York over the next week-or-so, model Molly Fletcher wonders how long the popularity will last.

“These newbie models are hot one week,” Fletcher said. “If they haven't put in their dues, their footprint probably won't last.”

Joan Rivers remembered at star-studded funeral

Joan Rivers remembered at star-studded funeral

Howard Stern delivered the eulogy, Broadway singer-actress Audra McDonald sang "Smile" and bagpipers played "New York, New York" at Joan Rivers' funeral Sunday, a star-studded send-off that -- like late comedian herself -- brought together the worlds of Hollywood, theater, fashion and media.

At a funeral befitting a superstar, the New York City Gay Men's Chorus sang Broadway hits including "Hey Big Spender" before six-time Tony Award-winner McDonald sang her tribute to Rivers, a champion of theater for decades.

Tributes and reminiscences were delivered by TV anchor Deborah Norville, close friend Margie Stern, columnist Cindy Adams and Rivers' daughter, Melissa, who spoke about how she respected her mother and appreciated everyone's support.

"It was uplifting. We were celebrating her life," said fashion designer Dennis Basso.

"She would love this. We've all said this so many times: The one person who would really think this is the greatest thing ever is the lady who it's all about, and she's not here," said Norville afterward, amid the throngs of well-wishers and sound of bagpipes.

The funeral program included a page with three classic Rivers' lines printed out: "Can we talk?" ''Who are you wearing?" and "Because I'm a funny person."

A legion of notables turned out to remember Rivers, who died Thursday at 81: comedians Kathy Griffin, Rosie O'Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg; colleague and friend Kelly Osbourne; Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick; and celebrity doctor Mehmet Oz.

Theater stars Bernadette Peters, Alan Cumming and Tommy Tune were there. Record producer Clive Davis was, too. Fashion designers Carolina Herrera and Michael Kors were in attendance. Stars from TV such as Barbara Walters, Geraldo Rivera, Diane Sawyer, Kathie Lee, Hoda Kotb and Andy Cohen. Late night band leader Paul Shaffer. And moguls Barry Diller, Donald Trump and Steve Forbes.

Mourners had lined up outside the Fifth Avenue synagogue and waited for their names to be checked against a list before entering. A crowd of media stood watch across the street, and fans from as far away as Australia and England lined the streets.

Actress Susan Claassen, who met Rivers in London in 2008 when both had one-woman shows, came from Tucson, Arizona, to honor her friend. "I always like to say that in a world of knockoffs, Joan was an original," she said.

The comedian detailed in her 2012 book "I Hate Everyone ... Starting With Me" that she hoped for "a huge showbiz affair with lights, cameras, action" and "Hollywood all the way." Instead of a rabbi talking, Rivers asked for "Meryl Streep crying, in five different accents" and "a wind machine so that even in the casket my hair is blowing just like Beyonce's." Indeed, her wishes were so important they were printed in the funeral program.

BIEBER ASSAULT CHARGE DROPPED

Justin Bieber assault charge dropped

Prosecutors said Monday they have dropped an assault charge against Canadian

pop star Justin Bieber in connection with an incident involving a Toronto

limousine driver.

The withdrawn charge stemmed from an early-morning incident late last

December, when Bieber and five other people were picked up by a limousine from

a Toronto nightclub. Police alleged Bieber, 20, hit the limo driver several times in

the back of the head.

Prosecutors said the charge was withdrawn because there was no reasonable

prospectof conviction. It was just one episode in Bieber's ongoing troubles

with the law.Bieber is due in an Ontario court Sept. 29 to fight new charges.

Brian Greenspan, his Toronto lawyer, said last week that Bieber had been arrested

Aug. 29 oncharges of dangerous driving and assault following a collision between

a minivan and an ATV that led to a physical altercation with a photographer.

Greenspan said Bieber was near his hometown of Stratford, Ontario, on a

"peaceful retreat" withactress/singer Selena Gomez that "was unfortunately

disrupted by the unwelcomepresence of the paparazzi."

Police said there were no injuries as a result of the collision, but could not say whether there were any injuries from the altercation.

Bieber had earlier been photographed on an ATV vehicle with Gomez, his on-and-off again girlfriend.

Just days before the Ontario incident, Bieber's car was hit from behind by a vehicle driven by a photographer in Hollywood. Bieber later tweeted: "I don't have a problem with Paparazzi but when they act recklessly they put us all in danger."

Last month, Bieber pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of careless driving and resisting arrest seven months after his arrest in Miami Beach for what police initially alleged was an illegal street drag race. In a plea bargain, he agreed to an anger management course, a $500 fine and a $50,000 charitable contribution.

In July, Bieber pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor vandalism charge for tossing eggs at a neighbor's house in Los Angeles. He agreed to pay more than $80,000 in damages, meet a number of other conditions and was sentenced to two years' probation.

Bieber catapulted to fame at age 15, and then earned nominations for two Grammy Awards for his 2010 full-length album debut "My World 2.0." Sales of his latest records have fallen off.

Ray Rice cut by Baltimore Ravens after damning video emerges

The Baltimore Ravens cut star running back Ray Rice from their roster Monday afternoon after video emerged earlier in the day appearing to show him punching and knocking out his then-fiancee and now-wife Janay Palmer.

Coach John Harbaugh spoke to the media Monday night after practice, saying that upon seeing the video earlier in the day, he met with owner Steve Bisciotti, President Dick Cass and GM Ozzie Newsome to make a decision about Rice's future with the team, CBSSports.com reported.

"It was not a long meeting. We came to the decision we came to to release Ray and that's what we did," Harbaugh said. "So you know that. I had a chance to talk with Ray along with Ozzie this afternoon after we did it."

Rice's lawyer, Michael Diamondstein, declined to comment when contacted by The Associated Press.

The controversy was rekindled early Monday after new video released by TMZappeared to show what happened before Rice dragged Palmer out of the elevator.

In the video, two people that appear to be Palmer and Rice can be seen arguing, and the woman approaches the man at one point. The man that appears to be Rice than punches the woman quickly in the face with his left hand, and she drops to the floor, violently hitting her head on a railing on the way down. The man does not appear to bend over to check on her until the elevator doors open, when he then bends over and begins dragging her away.

The team had not publicly commented on the second video until they announced they had terminated Rice's contract.

Jennifer Aniston causes Oscar buzz at Toronto Film Fest with ‘Cake’

Jennifer Aniston causes Oscar buzz at Toronto Film Fest with ‘Cake

You better believe it after the tumultuous standing ovation she received at the Elgin Theatre Monday afternoon for her potentially career-changing film ,"Cake,"after it finished its end credits.

Sans any makeup and with scars and other disabilities, Aniston proved way beyond cosmetic changes that she is the real thing. She’s heartbreakingly good, alternately bitingly dramatic and funny in this story of a woman suffering from chronic pain. It is also partially to the credit of writer Patrick Tobin and director Daniel Barnz ("Phoebe In Wonderland," "Won’t Back Down') that Aniston’s character Claire doesn’t strike a false note throughout.

At the post Q&A she elaborated even further. “It was a no-brainer. Just reading Patrick’s script I actually saw myself doing it. I just felt like it was already happening and it was pretty easy to say ‘yes’. It was such a beautiful, complex, layered, tortured character I just tapped into something I was meant to do, ” she

said. She did extensive research and even had friends who had similar pain and addiction to prescription drugs to curb it. She said she talked to a lot of people who suffered from this huge problem who could "walk me in that walk."

Many pundits would probably dismiss Aniston as a major studio movie star who does lighter fare like "We’re The Millers" but she has proven in the past with indie fare like "The Good Girl" and "Management" that she is not a one-trick pony, but rather a star with untapped potential. She was great opposite Vince Vaughn in "The Breakup," a wildly underrated studio dramedy.

Director Barnz says she was a joy to work with, jumping in feet first in the project that came together unusually quickly. He had reluctantly been judging a screenwriting competition in Southern California when it suddenly dawned on him the winner was a script he should make.

“That was June, 2013, we were in pre-production in February and before the cameras in April , finishing in May, ” he said of the accelerated schedule. He managed to get some more money from the producers for a faster post-production schedule and got it ready just in time for Toronto. Aniston jokingly told Deadline that quick pace caused windburn and whiplash but they got it done in 25 days.

Apple unveils smart watch

Apple unveils smart watch

Apple Inc unveiled the "Apple Watch" alongside two new iPhones with sharper and larger displays on Tuesday, calling the wearable device the next chapter in its history.

The first new product to be developed and introduced under Chief Executive Officer Tim Cook's reign is a wearable device tethered to the iPhone that will combine health and fitness tracking with communications.

Bernstein Research analyst Toni Sacconaghi estimated on Tuesday that if Apple were to sell 30 million watches at $250 each, it would add about $7.5 billion to its revenue.

Rival electronics giants such as Sony Corp, Samsung, LG Electronics Inc and Qualcomm Inc have already launched smartwatches, albeit without much success.

The pressure had been on for the world's largest tech company to wow at its "special event" in Cupertino. The prospect of the Watch had attracted a broader swathe of attendees than usual, with celebrities, fashion industry editors and even healthcare executives rounding out the mostly tech-industry crowd.

On Tuesday, the company took the wraps off a larger, 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus. They will support more than 200 telecoms carriers worldwide, including all three in China - a key growth market for the company.

It also introduced a new mobile payments service dubbed "Apple Pay." Each phone will come equipped with its new payments service, which launches in the United States next month and allows users to pay for items in stores with their phones instead of physically presenting their credit or debit cards.

In a rare move for the company, Apple had planned on livecasting its event online, with a simultaneous translation in Chinese. But the livestream went down for many users about a half-hour in, prompting many to take to Twitter to express their frustrations.

Kim Kardashian's Vampire Facial: Experts Weigh In

Source: US Magazine

By Joyce Chen

News researcher: Niloufar Far.

When Kim Kardashian decided to brave the latest Hollywood trend -- a vampire facial -- on a recent episode of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, viewers' jaws dropped.

In a vampire facial (the term "Vampire Facelift" has been trademarked by Alabama doctor Charles Runels), which is intended to help fight signs of aging, about two teaspoons of blood are extracted from the patient's arm, spun in a centrifuge for approximately 10 minutes to separate the platelets, and then injected back into the patient's face.

The golden-colored clear serum that rises to the top of the tubes is known as platelet rich plasma, or PRP for short, and that is what's "injected into the patient's face to rejuvenate the face," New York-based dermatologist Dr. Macrene Alexiades-Armenakas tells Us Weekly.

Some variations of the procedure involve an extra step, wherein the practitioner adds fillers to help the results. The procedure takes anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes and can cost between $1500 to $2500.

Asked if there is any science behind the latest anti-aging remedy, the doctors are split. "[There's] almost none," Dr. Alexiades-Armenakas tells Us. "As of now there isn't any scientific evidence that examines its efficacy … but presumably the plasma contains nutrients and factors that may boost skin rejuvenation. It is the latest new thing."

Dr. David Colbert, a fellow New York-based dermatologist who has worked with stars like Rachel Weisz and Sienna Miller (Dr. Colbert has not performed the controversial procedure on either actress), tells Us that "it is the most sought-after procedure after Botox and fillers." He counters that the science does, in fact, support the procedure.

"Many studies have been done that show how and why PRP works," he tells Us. "

Injecting a person's own growth factors back into the skin stimulates more collagen and

elastin to be made -- in effect increasing the thread count and luminosity of the skin."

On the show, Kardashian, 32, winced in pain as she was pricked with the tiny needles

that delivered the extracted blood back into her face. "Ow, that hurts so bad!" she cried

as red blood streamed down her face.

But Dr. Colbert tells Us that the procedure doesn't hurt any more than an "acupuncture

treatment," and, in fact, he takes steps to make sure that the procedure is as painless as

possible.

"We use a topical numbing agent and patients are very comfortable throughout the 15

minute procedure," he says of his experience. "They are always surprised that it doesn't

really hurt."

Joan Rivers' doctor not currently working at New York clinic

The doctor who performed the outpatient throat procedure on comedian Joan Rivers, who died last week in a New York hospital, is not currently working there, the clinic said on Friday.

Rivers, 81, died on Sept 4, a week after she suffered a cardiac arrest during the procedure and was rushed to a nearby hospital.

Yorkville Endoscopy said Dr Lawrence Cohen, a renowned gastroenterologist and co-owner of the center, was not currently working there.

"Dr. Cohen is not currently performing procedures at Yorkville Endoscopy; nor is he currently serving as medical director," a representative for the center said in a statement.

No other details were released and the clinic did not respond to calls for comment about media reports that Cohen had been asked by the board to step down.

Rivers' cause of death is still unknown, pending further tests, according to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

The State Department of Health has been investigating the center on Manhattan's Upper East Side, examining documents and interviewing staff.

On Thursday, Yorkville Endoscopy issued its first statement since Rivers was treated at the center on Aug. 28. It denied ever administering general anesthesia or conducting a vocal cord biopsy, which media reports alleged contributed to the comedian's death.

Although it did not mention Rivers by name, the statement was released hours after New York's Daily News newspaper reported an unplanned vocal cord biopsy had left the Brooklyn-born comedian unable to breathe.

Rivers was known for her acerbic wit, cosmetic surgeries and classic put downs. Her career as a stand-up comedian, author, talk show host and reality TV star spanned five decades.

Porn purveyor Vivid Entertainment released a press release this week stating that there was an Iggy Azalea sex tape on the market.

The rapper’s camp quickly denied the claim, saying it wasn't her.

But in a TMZ report positing that it might indeed be the rapper in the sex tape after all, Azalea’s lawyer backtracked, reportedly saying the video could be from a spurned ex, and it may have been filmed without her knowledge or consent.

That would classify it as revenge porn.

But it gets even more sordid. According to TMZ, the lawyer said if it is her, she may also be underage in the tape, which would make it child pornography.

Vivid’s president Steven Hirsch told FOX411 that he is “very confident that the person I saw was Iggy Azalea.”

Dr. Charlotte Laws, an advocate for revenge porn victims, explained Azalea’s legal rights, should it indeed be her in the video.

“If this is true, then her remedy is civil. She can sue for right to publicity and potentially win millions," Laws said. "She has the right to control the commercial use of her name and likeness."

"On the criminal side, it largely depends on her state or country of residence. If her principal residence is in Australia, she may be in luck," Laws added. “The only two countries that have banned revenge porn thus far are Australia and Israel. She should contact law enforcement. If she resides in the U.S., it would depend on her particular state law. Fourteen states have banned nonconsensual pornography to date.”

And according to Carrie Goldberg, a New York attorney who litigates online sexual privacy invasions, Vivid could also be in trouble if they release the video, even if Azalea is above the age of consent.

“Vivid could also  be liable under the new criminal laws for intentionally distributing the sexual video knowing that it could cause emotional distress to Iggy," Goldberg said. "She has publicly announced to them that the filming was without her consent or knowledge. The video is the result of a crime that happened to Iggy. It’s legally and morally reprehensible for them to distribute and profit from this.”

Azalea’s rep did not immediately respond to FOX411's request for comment.

Former “American Idol” contestant Joanne Borgella died on Saturday at the age of 32 from cancer.

Borgella’s family announced the sad news on the singer's Facebook page, saying, “At an early age, Joanne made a choice to serve and trust the Lord; and since her diagnosis over a year ago, Joanne made a choice to also be a fighter and share her journey with the world."

"Her faith, courage and strength were unshaken throughout every obstacle she encountered. Although our family is suffering with this great loss, we find comfort in the closeness Joanne shared with the Lord. We know her spirit still shines and will continue to live on in heaven."

In 2008, Borgella was a contestant on Season 7 of “American Idol” and made it to the top 12 girls category. She also appeared in 2005 on “Mo’Nique’s Fat Chance,” which she won using the name “Miss F.A.T.”

Last year Borgella described her cancer as rare because it had spread to her chest. In the family’s posting on Facebook they said she suffered from endometrial cancer, which attacks the lining of the womb.

The last time Borgella updated her social media pages was in September, when she said she was going to have radiation for two more procedures.

Social media was in a whirlwind this past week, as photos emerged of a top-less woman looking strikingly similar to Beyonce hit the net. Photos began circulating early Tuesday morning of a woman in a yellow bikini flaunting her goods on the beach. Turns out the photos were actually of an ex U.K. "Big Brother" contestant, Rachel White, shot back in 2011.

(Reuters) - Matthew McConaughey's upcoming film about a journey beyond the

stars may as well be about the Texas actor's own stratospheric career these days.

From winning his best actor Oscar in March for "Dallas Buyers Club" to his lead

role in the highly anticipated space-exploration drama "Interstellar," set to become

one of the year's biggest movies, McConaughey has rocketed to a level of stardom

unlike anything he said he has ever experienced before.

And he loves it, the actor told Reuters.

"I'm enjoying my career now more than ever," he said during a preview screening

for military families at Fort Hood Army base, a few hours away from his ranch in

Central Texas.

McConaughey, 44, takes the lead in "Interstellar," out in theaters on Nov. 7, the

latest film by "Dark Knight" director Christopher Nolan that McConaughey called "

as enormous as anything that's been put on the screen."

"It's got questions that we can talk about until the end of time," he said.

McConaughey plays Cooper, a widowed father and former pilot grounded by his own circumstances, the defunding of space exploration, and other grim developments leading to Earth's fast-approaching demise.

Then Cooper is called upon to head deep into outer space to find a new galaxy for humanity to call home, but he faces leaving his family to pursue mankind's salvation.

"And there's no return ticket," McConaughey says. "That's a hell of a question. That's as hard as it can get."

Cooper's everyman status puts him in contrast to McConaughey's recent collection of antiheroes living on the fringe in movies like "Mud" and HBO's crime drama series "True Detective." Playing homophobic AIDS sufferer Ron Woodroof in "Dallas Buyers Club" earned the actor a Golden Globe and Screen Actor's Guild award.

Once pigeonholed into playing goofy hotshot characters in action movies and romantic comedies, McConaughey's turn towards grittier dramatic roles has been dubbed the McConaissance, a change that he attributes to being more settled and mature in his personal life.

"The target draws the arrow," he said, wearing a trucker hat he designed that reads "Alright" and "just keep living," a nod to his now-iconic Oscar speech. "I think I'm drawing things that are right for me right now."

McConaughey is being drawn back to his lighter roots, saying he is currently conceptualizing his own comedy. The actor betrays nothing else but a sly grin about the "comedy up my sleeve."

The actor said his most exciting and challenging role is being a father to his three young children with his Brazilian model wife, Camila Alves.

"It's a brand new movie every day," he added with a laugh.

His decision to star in "Interstellar" was inspired by his oldest, 6-year-old Levi, who wants to invent a spacesuit that will let him walk on the sun.

"I'm really turned on with what I'm doing day to day, in work and personally," he said. "I'm happy to be able to say that. It's not guaranteed, for sure."

If breast cancer ever needed a theme song, Paula Abdul’s Check Yourself would probably be it. Recently, Abdul released a new music video to raise awareness for breast cancer prevention.

“Singing and dancing are my passions. I am thrilled and inspired to have had the opportunity to apply these passions to create a new music video in support of the breast cancer awareness cause, and the new global #CheckYourself for Breast Cancer campaign is very personal for me," Abdul said in a statement.

The video is part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, included in the larger Avon Foundation for Women campaign, and focuses on the importance of self-exams, even giving instruction on how to do them properly. Also featured in Check Yourself, alongside Paula Abdul, is the singer’s breast cancer survivor sister, Wendy Emkin.

"My sister Wendy was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2000 and is a breast cancer survivor and champion for the cause, she inspires me every day. My hope is that this new video will inspire women and men to take charge of their own breast health through screening, detection, and treatment,” Abdul explained.

Britney Spears Has Her Own Holiday On November 5

Britney Spears officially has her own holiday now,  thanks to the city of Las Vegas. Because of her successful ongoing residency at Planet Hollywood, the Clark County commission chairman is honoring Spears with her own "Britney Day" on Nov. 5, along with a key to the Vegas strip. In the spirt of "Britney Day," the "Toxic" singer will spend the day hanging with fans at the LINQ promenade.

But wait -- there's more! The pop icon is also extending a special invitation to the fellow Britneys of the world, or anyone named Britney with any variation of spelling. The first 100 “Britney’s” who check in at the High Roller Wheel House with an I.D. starting at 8 a.m. on Nov. 5 will receive a pair of tickets to her Vegas show that night.

Until then, let's live every day like it's Britney Day!

DiCaprio, Netflix team up to showcase film about endangered gorillas

What do you get when you combine gorillas, Leonard DiCaprio and Netflix?

A hit, the media company hopes.

Netflix announced that it will team up with DiCaprio -- who it described as a "an actor, producer and philanthropist" -- to distribute a documentary film entitled "VIRUNGA," about the quest to save endangered mountain gorillas in the eastern Congo park by that name.

But what makes this unique is that it's a film, not a series, and it will come out in theaters in New York and Los Angeles on November 7.

VIRUNGA has won numerous awards, the documentary is executive produced by acclaimed actor Leonardo DiCaprio.

Renee Zellweger thinks all of the conversation about her face is "silly."

Source: New York Times, written by Alex Kuczynski

Research by Farangis Siahpour

The chatter started after Zellweger appeared on the red carpet at the Elle magazine 21st annual Women in Hollywood event. The actress looked so different from her "Jerry Maguire" and "Bridget Jones's Diary" days that some questioned whether it was really the same person.

Zellweger defended herself to People magazine soon, in a statement that attributed her new appearance to healthy living, love and lifestyle changes:

"I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows.

Surgeons are quick to offer their opinions about what has taken place. Dr. Michelle Copeland, a plastic surgeon in New York City, said that Ms. Zellweger had probably elected to have a blepharoplasty, or upper eyelid lift, and possibly also a forehead lift, with the addition of injectable fillers that may have widened the planes of her face. She has also likely benefited from laser or ultrasound procedures that tighten the skin.

We’ve all seen garish plastic surgery on celebrities. But in the case of Ms. Zellweger, her new appearance set off a battery of intensifying debates.

The supernatural thriller “Ouija” has summoned a box office win, ahead of Keanu Reeves’ actioner “John Wick.”

The Universal Pictures horror film, loosely based on the board game with which players supposedly conjure the dead, drew pre-Halloween ticket sales of an estimated $8.3 million Friday. That's about a third of the $25 million it's expected to bring in through Sunday, according to people who've seen pre-release audience surveys.

"John Wick," starring Keanu Reeves as a retired hit man, came in second Friday with an estimated $5.4 million, a better-than-expected start attributable in part to strong reviews. Writing for The Times, Robert Abele called the Lionsgate action film "a B movie made with A-student love for the relentless thrill of bodies in brutal motion."

Last weekend's No. 1, the Brad Pitt war flick "Fury," dropped to third place on Friday with sales of $4.1 million, according to estimates at Box Office Mojo, while "Gone Girl," last weekend's runner-up, again trailed "Fury" at No. 4. David Fincher's suspense film based on Gillian Flynn's bestselling 2012 novel made an estimated $3.4 million to begin its fourth weekend in theaters.

"Money ain't nothing but money / When you get to the money, it ain't nothing but money," Miley Cyrus rapped on Bangerz – and the singer continued that cost-is-no-object sentiment at Wednesday's amFAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles.

Decked out in a skin-baring, S&M-style dress, Cyrus won a bidding war against the night's honoree – designer Tom Ford.

The prize: a print of a nude woman by photographer Ryan McGinley. The price: a casual $300,000.

Upon the singer's winning bid, host Gwyneth Paltrow took the stage, quipping: "Okay, I'm drunk now, so this isn't fair … And Miley Cyrus has much more money than I do! What the f---?!"

Then the once promising starlet almost threw it all away with partying and problems with the law.

(Reuters) - Melissa Rivers, the daughter of comedian Joan Rivers, has hired a New York law firm to investigate the circumstances behind her mother's death from a complication during an outpatient throat procedure, the firm said on Tuesday.

The investigation could ultimately lead Melissa Rivers to file a civil lawsuit against the clinic where her mother was treated.

"In order to fully determine the facts and circumstances surrounding the death of Joan Rivers, we confirm that our firm has been engaged by Melissa Rivers and her family," Ben Rubinowitz, a partner at Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz, said in a statement.

Rubinowitz declined to comment further or say if Melissa Rivers intended to file a lawsuit.

Rivers, 81, died in a hospital on Sept. 4, a week after she stopped breathing during an examination of the back of her throat and vocal cords at Manhattan's Yorkville Endoscopy.

New York's medical examiner determined the brash comedian, who helped pave the way for women in comedy, died from anoxic encephalopathy, a condition caused when brain tissue is deprived of oxygen and there is brain damage.

Following Rivers' death, the State Health Department launched an investigation into the clinic where Rivers was treated.

Melissa Rivers co-hosted cable network E!'s series "Fashion Police" with her mother before her death.

J-Lo admits Ben Affleck broke her heart

Jennifer Lopez admits that her first big heartbreak was when her relationship with Ben Affleck ended in 2004 reports Rob Shuter of naughtygossip.com.

In an interview with Maria Shriver airing next Monday and Tuesday on “Today,” the singer opens up about that failed engagement and her quick rebound with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

“Right away when you broke up with Ben Affleck, Marc Anthony was there, like, two days later, and you were in,” said Shriver, referring to Lopez who broke up with Affleck in January and had married Anthony by June.

“Right, you’re absolutely right,” acknowledged the “American Idol” judge. “It was probably my first big heartbreak, and to have one of my best friends who I’d known for years who I actually love and did have chemistry with come into my life and say, ‘I’m here.’ What you need to know is, nobody can save you or heal you. Only you can do that for you.”

Lopez, who has a string of exes — including three ex-husbands — has confessed in recent months that she’s taking a breather from dating for a while.

“I’m open to love, but right now, I think it’s better to just be on my own for a minute and learn more about myself,” the 45-year-old told Shriver.

Potik has hired power lawyers Kenneth David and Marc Kasowitz. David said, “The Lohans’ egregious theft of the design, layout and functionality of Spotted Friend’s app [was] in blatant violation of their contractual and fiduciary duties. This significant victory helps ensure that the Lohans will not profit from their illegal conduct at Spotted Friend’s expense.”

But the Lohans’ attorney, Ravi Batra, told us that the restraining order merely “preserves the status quo” until the Lohans file court papers “backing up their claim that Fima is an inept plagiarizer who fraudulently induced Lindsay, Mike and Chris to join him with [false] representations that he would have a product-recognizing app by June 2013 — an app he still hasn’t created.” Batra added, “Fima’s days of being a celebrity-leech are over.”

Now the whole Lohan family really is in trouble. Lindsay Lohan and brother Michael Jr. have been hit with a court order to stop work on their fashion e-commerce app Vigme after an ex-business associate claimed they stole the idea from him and is suing for $60 million reports The New York Post.

Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Saliann Scarpulla issued a temporary restraining order on Friday, which bars the siblings from launching, promoting or marketing their “virtual closet” app Vigme. The order comes after Fima Potik claimed Michael Jr. and his famous sister stole his trade secrets from his online shopping company Spotted Friend to start a competing business.

After meeting Potik in 2013, the Lohans, along with Michael’s roommate Christopher Roth, became equity members of Spotted Friend, and Potik handed over a beta version of the app and marketing materials. The app allows users to view celebrities’ and friends’ virtual closets, then purchase wardrobe items.

Months later, Potik learned from reading Page Six of The New York Post, that the Lohans had launched social commerce Web site Vigme, which he claims is a “virtual clone” of Spotted. “Vigme’s mobile application . . . is nearly identical in design and layout to Spotted Friend’s mobile application.”

BIG WINNER OF COUNTRY MUSIC AWARDS 2014

2014 CMA Awards: Complete list of winners, best and worst moments

The Country Music Association Awards may have looked like The Miranda Lambert Show for most of the night on Wednesday, but it was Nashville hitmaker Luke Bryan who took home the biggest honor as Entertainer of the Year.

Bryan, now really the most powerful artist in the genre, became emotional as he accepted the prize on stage at the CMAs — his voice quavering as he thanked his family. And hoisting the trophy, he wrapped up his speech with his signature, blinding-white smile and the words: “We’re gonna have a good time tonight.”

Lambert certainly did, continuing her award-show reign by landing four wins — the most in the room — out of a field-leading nine nominations. For the fifth straight time, she was named Female Vocalist of the Year. She also won Vocal Event of the Year (for “We Were Us” with Keith Urban); Single of the Year (for the reflective “Automatic”); and Album of the Year (for the dynamic “Platinum”).

“I really poured my heart and soul into this one more than ever,” she said of her fifth album, noting that she turned 30 last year and “felt like I needed to sing about new stuff.”

The night’s biggest surprise: Newcomer Kacey Musgraves, who grew up in the same East Texas area as Lambert, picked up a win for Song of the Year for her critically acclaimed, controversial single “Follow Your Arrow.”

“Do you guys realize what this means for country music?” a stunned Musgraves asked the audience as she accepted her award for the song, which references same-sex kissing and smoking marijuana. “I think I can speak for all of us when I say that this award means so much because our genre was built on simple, good songs about real life – and that’s what this was.”

Musgraves’s not-so-veiled nod to the kind of songs that have taken over country music these days (alcohol-fueled party anthems about women and trucks) wasn’t lost on anyone. While “Follow Your Arrow” was too risque for radio play in some conservative parts of the country, it’s clear that CMA voters wanted to recognize solid songwriting.

Tom Cruise, 52, and Lindsay Lohan, 28, are both currently in London, and as they explore the city, they have been exploring each other, according to a new report.

According to sources, Lindsay had been craving the security and sophistication that comes with dating an older man, so she couldn’t believe her luck when she ran into her old crush in London.

The two exchanged numbers on Oct. 7 at Chiltern Firehouse in London, says the mag, after flirting all night.

If the pairing seems odd, you’re not alone in thinking so. However, they’ve been linked before; she auditioned in 2005 for a role opposite Tom in "Mission Impossible: III" when she was just 18. The mag claims that the audition was actually a cover for a girlfriend audition, and that Katie Holmes, 35, ended up winning the “part.”

That said, Lindsay is apparently down with whatever shady business Tom is allegedly involved in when it comes to his love life, because she reportedly “gushed” that Tom is the “sexiest man alive.”

This isn’t just a love connection, though; Lindsay thinks that Tom will be able to revive her struggling career, and Tom thinks that “Lindsay can definitely help him relax and have more fun.”

Snowden’s story is now familiar to most: the former U.S. intelligence

‘Big Hero 6′ Wins Box Office Weekend; Adult-Themed ‘Interstellar’ Right Behind

BH6 splashed down on a high-profile weekend, challenging Paramount’s 169-minute space opera from Nolan. And while Interstellar acquitted itself with a respectable bow (Par says $50 million, while our sources cite $47M (thanks largely to an unprecedented domestic IMAX rollout, which collected $13.4M), it was, unsurprisingly, surpassed by the four-quadrant appeal of BH6’s demographic umbrella.

The Sunday charts:

Locals in Germany were stunned by the sight of a Hitler look-alike driving around the country and strolling through various locations.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the controversial move was apparently to promote the upcoming movie Look  Who's Back, an adaption of a satirical novel imagining Hitler  waking up in Berlin 67-years after the Second World War has  ended.

In Timur Vermes' book, Hitler has no memory of anything after 1945 and interprets everything he sees from a Nazi perspective. Those he comes into contact with refuse to believe he is Hitler and he eventually becomes a celebrity thanks to his 'method acting' skills.

Vermes' novel sold over 1.4 million copies just in Germany and has been printed across 40 countries.

Deadline reports that the film's protagonist Oliver Masucci was placed in unsuspecting real-life situations for a ‘pre-shoot’ tour.

David Wnendt (Combat Girls, Wetlands) is directing, with cast including Christoph Maria Herbst, Fabian Sawatzki and Katja Riemann. Producers are Christoph Mueller and Lars Dittrich; Oliver Berben and Martin Moszkowicz are exec producing.

The Oscar-award winning director and political activist, told Russian media about his desire to make the film while he was in Moscow this week to finalize details for a new documentary on National Security Agency whistleblower Edward Snowden, who last year was given a three-year residency permit in Russia. Snowden has said he fears that if he returns to America he may not leave alive.

Stone's film about the NSA intelligence leaker, The Snowden Files,  which is expected to begin shooting early next year, was picked up Thursday at AFM for international distribution by French company The Wild Bunch, with Open Road Films buying U.S. rights.

The controversial film-maker has already made a documentary about his relationship with the former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, as well as "My Friend Hugo", a tribute to the late Venezuelan president Hugo Chavez.

Long gowns were the name of the game on this week's best-dressed list

Celebrities like  J.Lo and Kate Hudson stepped out in dresses with stunning trains, interesting cut-outs and amazing draping, which left us speechless (in a good way).

Each week, we crown 2 celebrities who inspired us with their style. whose look do you love the most? Send us your best dressed at

www.facebook.com/pages/Fashion-in-LA/130169343702024

and let us know!

Is she aging in reverse? J.Lo has never looked better. The singer resembles a statuesque model in this sparkly, plunging gown. After years of being in the spotlight, Lopez clearly knows what to highlight -- this curve-hugging dress is so alluring.

Kate Hudson in Gucci

Hudson is a sight to be seen. This nude chiffon gown could have easily washed her out, but the hue is only enhancing her dewy skin. The gathering at the waist is drawing your attention to her most narrow part, the one-shouldered silhouette showcases her toned arms and that deep pink lip highlights her golden strands

Taylor Swift shakes off competition to hold Billboard top spot

(Reuters) -

Taylor Swift reigned atop the U.S. Billboard 200 album chart for a second consecutive week on Wednesday after scoring the biggest debut in a dozen years.

"1989" sold 402,000 copies in its second week according to sales figures compiled by Nielsen SoundScan, outpacing the cumulative sales of the rest of the nine albums in the top ten of Billboard's weekly album chart by nearly 100,000 copies.

The "Now 52" compilation held steady at No. 2 with sales of 59,000, and only three new entries made the top ten of the Billboard 200 chart this week.

Veteran singer Bette Midler's "It's the Girls" clocked in at No. 3, British electronic music DJ Calvin Harris' "Motion" entered at No. 5 and country singer Sam Hunt's "Montevallo" rounded out the list at No. 10.

"1989" opened with 1.3 million copies last week and became Swift's third album to open with more than 1 million copies, making her the only artist to achieve the milestone. The album, billed as Swift's first all-pop record, has benefited from multi-platform promotion and the singer's dedicated social media following.

On the Digital Songs chart this week, which measures single song downloads, Swift's "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off" were at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively, behind Meghan Trainor's "All About That Bass" at No. 1.

Leonardo DiCaprio Celebrates 40th Birthday with A-List Friends

Where was our invite, Leo?

Celebrating the big 4-0 Tuesday night at Soho House in West Hollywood, Leonardo DiCaprio was surrounded by friends and former costars, including Tobey Maguire, Jonah Hill, Robin Thicke, Kevin Connolly, Tyrese and Adam Levine.

"Leo made sure the party had started by the time he arrived around 11 p.m.," says a source at the bash, which drew about 100 people. "It wasn't a crazy party. Guests danced and enjoyed hors d'oeuvres."The birthday boy left the party at 1:30 a.m. but continued the celebration at a private house afterward, the insider adds. And fret not: While his girlfriend Toni Garrn did not make an appearance, the model is currently out of the country for work.

"I suppose 40 represents something different, but I've been thinking about being 40 for so long that I'm prepared for it," he told the ShortList earlier this year. "It seems like the age barometer where you're still considered youthful is getting higher and higher. I'm going to hold on to that ideal as long as I can"

Brooke Shields Recalls "Beautiful" Experience of Losing Her Virginity to Dean Cain

(Before Guilt Slapped Her in the Face)

When she was a junior at Princeton, Brooke Shields fell in love with a future Superman.

And though they ultimately never married, the Blue Lagoon star did eventually decide that she and Dean Cain should consummate their relationship after years of dating.

In her new memoir, There Was a Little Girl: The Real Story of My Mother and Me, Shields opens up about the way in which her mom affected pretty much every area of her life, not least of them dating and romance.

"She loved that I had briefly dated John Travolta, Jimmy McNichol, Leif Garrett, Scott Baio and John Kennedy," she wrote of her mother and manager Teri, who "trusted that I would keep my vow of chastity."

But when she met Cain, who was a football player at Princeton, Shields writes, "Mom was unjustly judgmental of our romantic relationship and she feared it on a deeper level. I don't know if she would ever admit to it but this threat went beyond Catholicism. I believe she wanted me to stay hers alone. She believed in an absolute hold she had on me...And growing up, and having sex, would mean that I was leaving her."

The night finally came, Shields recalls, when she was 22, after she and Cain had "been together for what seemed like a lifetime."

The now 49-year-old actress, who has two children with husband Chris Henchy, recalls losing her virginity as a "beautiful" experience that unfortunately was followed by the onset of overwhelming guilt.

"It should have been what I had wished for myself, but in an instant, guilt slapped me in the face," Shields writes. "Instead of giving in to what was a loving, and emotionally safe, relationship, and excaping into the most intimate and deserved moment, I began to cry deeply and silently...I got so overwhelmed that I jumped out of my bed" and bolted out of the room.

"I was buck naked, streaking down a hallway and running as if I had just stolen someone's wallet. What a sight!" she continues. "Dean leapt up and ran after me with the comforter in his arms. He threw it around me, grabbed me around my shoulders and stopped me from running."

Shields writes that both no longer being a virgin and being out of college marked the beginning of the end of her relationship with Cain. She really has nothing but the nicest things to say about him, admitting that at the time she "could not handle loving somebody more than my mom."

Khloé Kardashian Gets Behind Kim Kardashian's Decision to Pose Completely Nude:

"It's a Big Eff You to the World"

There's nothing like the support of a sister. Or a husband like Kanye West for that matter.

With Kim Kardashian's full-frontal nude photo shoot the talk of the town, Khloé Kardashian gamely shared her thoughts on her big sister's bold move exclusively with E! News while at the James Kendall Salon last night in support of Kylie Jenner and Bellami Hair.

And the reliably candid Kardashian sis did not dissapoint.

"You know what? If you've got it, flaunt it," Khloe said. "I think Kim has an amazing body, she looks incredible. To each their own."

And while Kanye tweeted his unquivocal approval after Kim's bare butt started making the rounds on the cover of Paper magazine, which features a clear view of the rest of Kim's bodacious bod as well in its Winter 2014 issue, it turns out that Kim's shoot was another joint Kimye production.

"The thing that I love about Kim," Khloé continued, "Kim and Kanye, they do things together, like that's something they both agreed to do as a couple—even though it was just Kim—but they discuss it and they both think it's art and it's cool, and that's their thing."

And, Khloé reiterated, "I think Kim looks great and if you have the confidence to do that, more power to you. And people just, I think, went so hard on her during her pregnancy that I think it's almost that she feels so liberated to show everyone, like, ‘Look how bomb I look.' And she does, she looks great."

Colin Farrell Writes Emotional Letter to Voters in Ireland:

Please Support Gay Rights for My Brother

Colin Farrell has a message to Ireland voters: Please support gay rights!

In a letter published in this weekend's Sunday World, the beloved actor shares the personal story of his brother's journey as a gay man. In the process, Farrell can't help but take a stand in the fight for same-sex couples.

"My brother Eamon didn't choose to be gay," he wrote in an essay. "But he was always proud of who he was. Proud and defiant and, of course, provocative. Even when others were casting him out with fists and ridicule and the laughter of pure loathsome derision, he maintained an integrity and dignity that flew in the face of the cruelty that befell him."

While Eamon continues to call Dublin home with his husband, Steven, Farrell revealed that the couple had to say "I Do" in Canada where their marriage was able to be "celebrated."

"That's why this is personal to me," he shared. "The fact that my brother had to leave Ireland to have his dream of being married become real is insane. INSANE."

He added, "It's time to right the scales of justice here. To sign up and register to vote next year so that each individual's voice can be heard."

According to recent polls published in Ireland newspapers, more than 67 percent of voters support the introduction of same sex marriage in Ireland. With the election not scheduled until the spring of 2015, Farrell hopes that number can only increase.

"How often do we get to make history in our lives?" he asked readers. "Not just personal history. Familial. Social. Communal. Global. The world will be watching. We will lead by example. Let's lead toward light."

Patrick Schwarzenegger and Miley Cyrus Are "Falling in Love"

As They Enjoy Two Weekend Dates

Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger just can't seem to stay away from each other!

First it was the University of Southern California football game Thursday night. Then it was a casual dinner date Friday. Now, E! News can confirm the twosome enjoyed another night out at Mr. Nice Guy in West Hollywood Saturday evening.

"They had just been for dinner and came to Nice Guy to meet some friends for drinks," an eyewitness told E! News. "They seem so happy together!"

The "We Can't Stop" singer stayed close to her rumored new boyfriend as she held his hand outside the hotspot.

"She was beaming, she seemed so happy to be by his side," the eyewitness added. "And he obviously feels the same, he couldn't take his eyes off her."

While the pair has yet to publicly declare their relationship status, those closest to the "We Can't Stop" singer and college student can't help but notice how happy the two are.

What started as a casual friendship appears to be turning into something so much more.

"I have seen Miley with Liam and other boyfriends but honestly I have never seen her look as loved up as this," the insider added. "This is more than just a fling, they look like they are falling in love with one another."

Schwarzenegger would mark the first significant relationship for Cyrus since splitting from Liam Hemsworth. And no, we're not counting her brief

fling with Kellan Lutz. The pair ended their engagement on September 16, 2013 after almost four years together.

Today, the 21-year-old "Party in the USA" singer appears to be smiling ear to ear (or at least giving a thumbs up) whenever she's out and about.

"They might seem like an odd pairing, but they are quite good for each other," a source recently told E! News in regards to Cyrus' new relationship. "They've been friends forever."

"And they say I didn't have a talent...try balancing a champagne glass on your ass."

Those are the words tweeted by Kim Kardashian to describe her racy new cover shoot for Paper magazine's Winter issue. On one of the covers, Kardashian rocks a black sequin dress and, like she said, balances a champagne glass on her famous derriere. In the second image, the 34-year-old reality star takes off the gown and poses nude, full moon and all.

Break The Internet: "For our winter issue, we gave ourselves one assignment". There is no other person that we can think of who is up to the task than one Kim Kardashian West. A pop culture fascination able to generate headlines just by leaving her house.

"We tapped legendary French photographer Jean-Paul Goude to recreate his iconic 'Champagne Incident' shot and all we can say about the images inside,  is...holy fucking shit!

Taylor Swift is a role model to so many of her fans but when it comes to her own she isn't finding them in her own field blame it on the room and future and the competition but Swift is picky about her role models.

In an interview with Time magazine, Swift, 24, says, "We're taught to find examples for the way we want our lives to wind up. But I can't find anyone, really, who's had the same career trajectory as mine."
Her recent 1989 album release sold 1.28 million copies in its first week, and she is one of the most buzzed about artists. She has been gracing just about every magazine cover from Rolling Stone to wonderland was  recently named one of Barbara Walter's Most Fascinating people of 2014. It's no wonder she has a hard time finding someone who has had a similar path.

Solange Knowles is known for her fashion as much as her music, and her weekend wedding didn't disappoint.
Her publicist confirmed Sunday that the 28-year-old singer (and sister of Beyonce) wed 51-year-old video director Alan Ferguson over the weekend.
The bride and groom both wore ivory, a color also worn by key attendees, including the bride's mother, Tina; brother-in-law Jay Z and niece Blue Ivy.
This is the second marriage for Knowles, who has a 10-year-old son, Daniel.
Knowles made headlines earlier this year when leaked video footage showed her attacking Jay-Z, with Beyonce standing nearby. The trio told The Associated Press in a statement the incident was "unfortunate" but they stressed they loved each other.

Susan Boyle Has Her First Boyfriend at Age 53

At the age of 53, Susan Boyle finally has her first boyfriend."I don't want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him," Boyle said in a sit-down with The Sun, an interview that was reported in the Daily Mail. "All I'll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy."According to The Sun, Boyle met the American doctor when the pair stayed in the same hotel during her recent tour and they enjoyed a romantic dinner, during which he was "the perfect gentleman".The Scottish singer's quotes were confirmed to PEOPLE by her rep, who added that the U.S. tour for her sixth album – appropriately entitled Hope and featuring songs of inspiration – was a "sell-out success" and that she "will be back in 2015 for the next leg."

Could that mean a dream come true for the I Dreamed A Dream singer, who shot from obscurity thanks to Britain's Got Talent and once admitted she had never been kissed?

"It's very early days so we'll see what happens," Boyle told The Sun. "I hope he comes over."

It has been a year of great change for Boyle, who was recently diagnosed with Asperger's, which she stated sometimes makes her feel like "King Kong's mother".

"Off stage, [my bad behavior] happens lots. It always has," she recently told the Daily Mail about her battle with mood swings and depression. "But I'm getting better at dealing with it because I know what it is. If I feel I'm going to take a mood swing, I get up and leave."

The singing sensation continued: "People with Asperger's do put a barrier up because they don't know how to trust people. I try not to. I want to let people in."

Joan Collins talks about being raped at 17

Source:foxnews.com

Joan Collins discusses being raped in a documentary called “Brave New World.” The 81-year-old actress wrote about the harrowing ordeal in her autobiography but this is the first time she has opened about it on camera, reports The New York Daily News.

The documentary is the brainchild of a former Israeli beauty queen named Linor Abargil who was raped at knifepoint six weeks before she was crowned Miss World in 1998.

Collins says in the film that she “was raped when I was 17 years old.”

The “Dynasty” star describes being drugged and raped when she was still a virgin. At the time she was an up and coming actress signed to a British film studio when the older Irish actor Maxwell Reed asked her out.

Collins says that Reed showed her pornographic magazines and then gave her a drink.

“The next thing I knew, I was out flat on the sofa in that living room and he was raping me,” she says. “And what he had given me was a drug. He had drugged my drink. It wasn’t my fault but I didn’t know, I went out with him.”

The 81-year-old actress explains that she naively went out with him again and again, eventually marrying him after he asked. “Well I better [marry him] because you know, he took my virginity,’ she says.

“I really hated him, but I was so filled with guilt, that he had done this thing to me.”

The actress then admitted. 'It took a long time to be able to really trust any man.

Collins and Reed were married for four years before divorcing. He died in 1974. Collins went onto marry another five times. She has been married to Percy Gibson since 2002.

Leaked Sony emails insult Angelina Jolie, Adam Driver

Jolie, to which Pascal told him not to threaten her.

He repeatedly slammed the idea of Jolie’s “Cleopatra” movie, calling Jolie a “minimally talented spoiled brat” and said the big-budget project could jeopardize his and Pascal’s careers.

“I’m not remotely interested in presiding over a $180m ego bath that we both know will be the career-defining debacle for us both,” reads one email from Rudin. “I’m not destroying my career over a minimally talented spoiled brat who thought nothing of shoving this off her plate for eighteen months so she could go direct a movie. I have no desire to be making a movie with her, or anybody, that she runs and that we don’t. She’s a camp event and a celebrity and that’s all and the last thing anybody needs is to make a giant bomb with her that any fool could see coming. We will end up being the laughing stock of our industry and we will deserve it, which is so clearly where this is headed that I cannot believe we are still wasting our time with it.”

Continuing to slam Pascal, Rudin also wrote: “You’ve destroyed your relationships with half the town over how you’ve behaved on this movie,” Rudin wrote to Pascal. “If you don’t think it’s true, wait and see. Let’s see the next filmmaker WME puts in business at Sony or the next piece of star talent. I’ll bet my house I’m right.”

According to Gawker, Pascal forwarded another rant from Rudin about the movie moving to Universal to a colleague, telling that executive: “Get rid of him.” Rudin moved his overall producing deal to Sony, where he had made the 2010 hit “The Social Network,” in June 2011 and has also produced for the studio such movies as “Moneyball,” “The Girl With the Dragon Tatoo,” “Captain Phillips” and “The Dictator.”

Rudin’s emails also took aim at Ellison, whose Annapurna Pictures had wanted to finance the Jobs movie when it was at Sony.

He referred to Ellison as a “bipolar 28-year-old lunatic” and implied that she needed to take her “meds” to get the production off the ground.

Ellison responded to Rudin’s rude remark on Twitter, showing a sense of humor.

With all of these explosive comments made public, it’s possible that crucial relationships involved could be damaged. In one email screenshot published by Gawker, David Fincher took a shot at Adam Driver, calling him a “horrible idea” for the villain role in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

A group calling itself Guardians of Peace has been targeting Sony Pictures since Nov. 24, resulting in the leak of confidential information about executive and star salaries, movie budgets and employees’ personal information. The group also released five new Sony movies on torrent sites, including the upcoming titles “Annie” and “Still Alice.”

Stand-up comedian and “chick who can hang” Amy Schumer will bring her unique and unrepentant brand of humor to the MTV Movie Awards as host of the 24th annual show.

“I am honored to be hosting the awards,” Schumer said in a statement on Wednesday. “I will carry the audience with me like a teen mom #breaktheinternet #breakmywater.”

Her Emmy-nominated comedy series, Inside Amy Schumer, is set to return to Comedy Central in April.

“Wickedly funny and sharply insightful, Amy Schumer is perhaps the most ascendant talent in comedy today and she’s on the brink of an epic year,” MTV president Stephen Friedman said. “We are thrilled to work with Amy to create an unpredictable and hilarious showcase for Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters and brightest stars in what promises to be the most combustible Movie Awards ever.”

The 2015 MTV Movie Awards will take place Sunday, April 12 at 9 p.m. ET/PT from Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre L.A. Live. Nominees will be announced at a later date.

In the latest fallout from the cyber-attack saga that’s enveloping Sony Pictures, leaked emails published by Gawker reveal a nasty exchange between studio co-chairman Amy Pascal and producer Scott Rudin, and an ugly bashing by the hard-charging producer of key figures in the industry, including Angelina Jolie and financier Megan Ellison.

The emails range from Feb. 27 to Nov. 19 shortly before the beginning of the recent hack attack on the Culver City studio. At the center of the fiery back-and-forth conversation is the upcoming Aaron Sorkin-written biopic on Steve Jobs that originated at Sony but later moved to Universal Pictures. Jolie, according to the emails, objected to David Fincher directing the movie about the Apple co-founder instead of her starring vehicle “Cleopatra.” Pascal asked Rudin, a producer on “Jobs,” to talk to Jolie about it, but Rudin said he didn’t “want to waste [his] time on this.”

“YOU BETTER SHUT ANGIE DOWN BEFORE SHE MAKES IT VERY HARD FOR DAVID TO DO JOBS,” Rudin said in one email, presumably referring to Jolie, to which Pascal told him not to

Cecil B. DeMill is the very definition of a big-time Hollywood producer-director in the first half of the 20th century. Hollywood Heritage Museum celebrated the 100th anniversary of the first feature film, Squaw Man, was made in Hollywood.

Squaw Man is a 1914 silent western drama film, and it was the only movie successfully filmed three times by the same director, De Mille.

Granddaughter of first feature filmmaker Cecil B. De Mille,  Cecilia de Mille signed her book Cecil B. DeMille: The Art of the Hollywood Epic (Running Press, 12/16, $60.00) at the event. This lavish art-format book opens a treasure trove—concept paintings, costumes, props, and an array of photographic imagery. Cecilia de Mille Presley was raised by C.B. DeMille and was present at the making of his later films. She brings a unique perspective to the DeMille legend.

Making more than 70 movies in a career that spanned 40 years, Cecil B. DeMille understood the magic of films, from intimate moments to huge extravaganzas -- literally employing casts of thousands both on-screen and behind-the-scenes.

In case you were wondering, being sexy is something Kate Upton embraces.

Access Hollywood chatted with the 22-year-old bombshell at the first-ever People Magazine Awards after she won the award for Sexiest Woman.

"I'm so excited, I mean it's amazing," she told Access Hollywood. "I always try to be sexy because to me that's confidence and being happy and it's amazing to be awarded for that."

During the award show, Kate apologized to her 18-year-old brother David for the honor.

"You have to imagine being an 18-year-old boy and your sister being called Sexiest Woman, it must kind of suck, although he never complains," she told Access.

The newly crowned Sexiest Woman is looking forward to taking a much-needed break from her busy schedule.

"Next is a vacation because it's Christmas…and I can't wait," she said.

And what does Kate want from Santa this year?

"A tan!" she told Access.

Oscar winner George Clooney slammed Hollywood power players for not supporting Sony Pictures following the cyber attack on the company over the satirical comedy "The Interview" about North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

Sony on Wednesday pulled the Christmas Day release of the film depicting a fictional assassination of Kim after major theater chains said they would not show it due to unspecified threats made by the hackers.

Clooney, in an interview Friday with online trade publication Deadline.com, said no one would sign a petition he and his agent circulated to top Hollywood figures supporting the film's release.

The actor-director, whose past two directorial efforts were Sony releases, also criticized the media for failing to link the cyber attack to North Korea. The United States on Friday blamed the country for the devastating cyber attack, calling it an unacceptable act of intimidation and vowing to impose "costs and consequences" on those responsible.

"We're talking about an actual country deciding what content we're going to have. This affects every part of business that we have," Clooney said. "We cannot be told we can't see something by Kim Jong Un."

George Clooney criticizes Hollywood in Sony cyber attack

In the cyber attack on Sony and its employees, hackers released a stream of embarrassing emails and demanded that the film's release be scrapped.

"We have a responsibility to stand up against this. That's not just Sony, but all of us, including my good friends in the press who have the responsibility to be asking themselves: What was important? What was the important story to be covering?" Clooney added.

The news media's early coverage of the hack largely focused on the content of leaked emails between Sony employees and film producers.`

Clooney, who won Oscars for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for the film "Syriana" in 2005 and Best Picture for "Argo" in 2012, said he is concerned about content in films and that it will now be judged differently.

"The movies we make are the ones with challenging content, and I don't want to see it all just be superhero movies. Nothing wrong with them, but it's nice for people to have other films out there," he added.

Sony defends decision to shelve release of 'The Interview,' saying studio 'had no choice'

FOX NEWS

Sony Pictures Entertainment defended its decision Friday to shelve the comedy film

"The Interview" in the wake of a massive hacking attack and threats against movie theaters,

saying it had "no choice" but to cancel the Dec. 25 release.

The statement was released hours after President Obama, speaking at an afternoon press

conference, said he believed the studio "made a mistake" in not releasing the film, the plot

of which centers on a fictional assassination attempt on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.

The film has ignited a debate about censorship, and the FBI has formally blamed North

Korea for the cyberattack, which has included leaks of confidential data and unreleased

movies, as well as threats against Sony employees.

"Let us be clear: the only decision that we have made with respect to release of the film was not to release it on Christmas Day in theaters, after the theater owners declined to show it," Sony said in its statement. "Without theaters, we could not release it in the theaters on Christmas Day. We had no choice."

Sony's statement, however, comes several days after the studio told theater owners it would be supportive of their individual decisions on whether or not to show the film after hackers sent a message that threatened "11th of September"-style attacks against venues showing the movie.

In a message emailed to various reporters on Tuesday, hackers who call themselves "Guardians of Peace" sent a warning to people planning to attend screenings of "The Interview," and even warned people who live near cinemas to leave home, according to a report from Variety.

“Warning ... We will clearly show it to you at the very time and places 'The Interview' be shown, including the premiere, how bitter fate those who seek fun in terror should be doomed to,” the message said. “Soon all the world will see what an awful movie Sony Pictures Entertainment has made. The world will be full of fear.”

The studio on Friday said that it still hopes to release the movie, albeit on a "different platform."

Also on Friday, Michael Lynton, Sony's chief executive and chairman, pushed back against Obama's remarks, insisting to CNN that the company has "not given in and we have not backed down,” and said Obama, the media and the public “are mistaken” about the situation.

On Friday, hackers sent a new email to Sony Pictures Entertainment, calling the studio’s decision to cancel the film’s release a “wise” one and warned the studio not to distribute the film “in any form.”

According to The Associated Press, a person close to the studio confirmed the email and said it was sent to several employees of the company from Guardians of Peace.

The FBI has said it has enough evidence to conclude that North Korea was behind the breach. On Friday, Obama vowed that the U.S. would "respond," to the attack, though he offered no details on what that response might entail.

He mocked the North Korean regime for launching an "all-out assault" over a satirical movie, but he also chided Sony for responding by shutting down the movie's release.

"I think they made a mistake," Obama said.

Obama said that if somebody can "intimidate" a company out of releasing a satirical movie, "imagine what they start doing when they see a documentary that they don't like or news reports that they don't like."

The Associated Press contributed to this report.

President Obama said Friday he thinks Sony "made a mistake" in choosing not to release "The Interview" in the wake of the devastating hacking attack which he blamed on North Korea, while vowing that the U.S. "will respond."

The president addressed the breach, at a year-end press conference, for the first time since Sony Pictures Entertainment canceled its high-profile movie release. He also spoke shortly after the FBI formally blamed Kim Jong Un's regime for the cyber-attack.

"We will respond," Obama vowed, while offering no details on what that response might entail.

He mocked the North Korean regime for launching an "all-out assault" over a satirical movie, but he also chided Sony for responding by shutting down the movie's release.

"I think they made a mistake," Obama said.

While saying he sympathizes with their situation and the concerns they faced, he said: "We cannot have a society in which some dictator some place can start imposing censorship here in the United States."

Obama said that if somebody can "intimidate" a company out of releasing a satirical movie -- in this case, one about a plot to execute North Korea's leader, starring Seth Rogen and James Franco -- "imagine what they start doing when they see a documentary that they don't like or news reports that they don't like."

Obama warned against "self-censorship," adding: "That's not who we are."

Sony Entertainment CEO Michael Lynton fired back on Friday, telling CNN that Obama, the press and others are "mistaken" about what happened. He cited the initial decision by movie theaters not to show the film, and took issue with Obama's comments. He said Sony has not "caved" or "given in" -- and wanted the public to see the movie.

The company also released a written statement citing the decision by theaters as the major factor. "We had no choice," the company said, while adding that they are looking at ways to release the film on "a different platform."

Sony has faced criticism not only from Washington but numerous actors and members of the Hollywood elite for its decision to nix the release under threats and pressure. At the same time, lawmakers and others have described the hack as a major attack with immense national security implications.

Obama, addressing those concerns, said Friday the U.S. will respond "proportionally," in a "place and time and manner" of their choosing. He also called for improvements in cybersecurity.

The Wall Street Journal reported Friday that the government is considering putting North Korea back on the list of state sponsors of terror. Asked for comment, though, the National Security Council said it would "not go into operations details about response options."

The president held his last major press conference of the year following a whirlwind of major developments affecting U.S. security, diplomatic and economic interests.

Aside from the developments with the Sony cyber-attack, earlier in the week, Obama announced a push to normalize relations with Cuba following the release of American Alan Gross from Cuban custody after five years.

Obama has faced heavy criticism from Republicans and Cuban-American lawmakers of both parties for that decision. On Friday, he claimed he has no illusions about the nature of the Castro regime. "This is still a regime that represses its people," he said.

But he defended his decision, saying that nothing has changed after 50 years of the same policy, and it's time to try something different. He claimed Cuba will be "open to the world" in ways it hasn't been before. His State Department plans to open an embassy in Havana for the first time in decades, though Congress could try to block the move.

Obama also wants Congress to lift the embargo on Cuba, though he acknowledged Friday there would be a "healthy debate" on that in Congress.

Obama and his family plan to leave next for their annual holiday vacation in Hawaii. He's due back in Washington in early January.

The president faces big obstacles on Capitol Hill next year, when Republicans will take over the Senate and return with a bigger majority in the House. Foreign policy problems also persist in the Middle East and between Russia and Ukraine.

Obama said Friday he thinks there are "real opportunities" next year to "get things done."

"I'm energized," Obama said. "Interesting stuff happens in the fourth quarter."

Usher’s Stalker At it Again; He Files Another Restraining Order

Written by eurweb

Poor, poor Usher, he’s got female problems again.

Admit it, some days you fantasize about being Usher and living large like him, right? No?! Well, it doesn’t matter ’cause right about now he’s probably wishing he wasn’t Usher.

That’s cause a certain stalker is on a mission to shake Ursh down for cash … again. If you missed it, back in November, the singer and “The Voice” coach requested a restraining order against Darshell Jones-Rakestraw, after she sent disturbing messages to him via Twitter and Instagram.

Jones-Rakestraw, according to Hello Beautiful, was arrested on Dec. 6 and is being held at the Fulton County jail after being charged with contempt of court. In 2012, Jones-Rakestraw was served with a restraining order from Usher after she came to his home demanding access. She received a warning by police not to return to the singer’s home only to show up again the next day trying to enter his home while claiming to be his wife. It was then that she was then taken to a psychiatric ward for a mental evaluation but was released.

Next the crazy lady created a video on YouTube excited about the restraining order Usher signed off, but somehow she interpreted that as he was attacking her character. Interestingly, she was able to present evidence from her bank statements to show the Grammy winner gave her money (no we don’t have the amount). After that, a judge granted Usher’s request for the restraining order, but it ran out June 2013. Now the Atlanta Journal-Constitution is reporting Jones-Rakestraw started harassing Usher once again by leaving messages with his attorney demanding the singer send her money and return her calls. According to court documents, Jones-Rakestraw left a voice message stating:

” I drove to Chicago and I want him to Western Union me some money or either give me something to get to work and I’m not playing with him. I’m tired of the games. If I can’t eat, he can’t eat.”

Court records also accuse Jones-Rakestraw of telling Usher’s security team she will follow him on tour and “get him” if he didn’t give her money.

Justin Bieber: I bought a private jet for Christmas

Written by foxnews

And you thought you had a merry Christmas.

Justin Bieber pretty much wins for coolest holiday present, like, ever after he shared with his fans that he got a super tricked out private jet. Yes, you read that correctly, the Biebs got a plane.

The controversial crooner took to Instagram to show off his new mode of transportation, naturally, and we gotta say it's pretty freaking awesome.

"Merry Christmas," he wrote alongside a snapshot of the luxurious interior. "She's a beauty."

Um…you can say that again.

Between the shiny paneled walls, cream-colored leather seats and gold pillows and throws, Biebs' new baby looks more like a swanky hotel than anything.

It's going to be tough topping gifts for the now-platinum blonde star next year.

But it's not like he's the only one on the receiving end of some extravagant gifts this holiday season.

In fact, Iggy Azalea just shared a photo of her gift from boyfriend Nick Young—a stunning heart-shaped, diamond-encrusted necklace.

And let's not forget that just days ago, she bought him a super slick, vintage cobalt Chevy convertible.

"My boo so dope!!!!" an understandably ecstatic Young captioned a collage. "Thanks for the Christmas gift #loveyou You go girl!!!! Westside."

The couple that goes all out with presents together, stays together!

The New York Times writes that Angie's recent "seriousness of wardrobe" has been "strategic". Here you could see the "muted colors; classic shapes; skirts that are strict, straight and to the knee; pumps, never platforms; long sleeves," and more simple, streamlined pieces that Angie's worn as she's been "shaping her image in pursuit of her goal."

Egyptian authorities ban Ridley Scott's Hollywood blockbuster Exodus: Gods and Kings for 'historical inaccuracies'

The film, starring Christian Bale as Moses and Australia's Joel Edgerton as Ramses and Golshifte Farahani as Ramses’s wife, shares a story about how Moses helped Israelite slaves flee persecution in Egypt under the Pharaoh Ramses by parting the Red Sea to let them cross safely.

Egyptian culture minister Gaber Asfour said Ridley Scott's blockbuster was rife with mistakes, including an apparent claim that "Moses and the Jews built the pyramids".

This dress worked for so many reasons, not the least of which is that Moore bucked the conventional wisdom that red heads look best in emerald.

Amber Rose Wears G-String Monokini, Shows Off Butt

Source: eonline

by Corinne Heller

Amber Rose may break the Internet herself with these photos...

The 31-year-old model, twerker and mother of one posted some of her raciest pics yet on her Instagram page on Saturday. They show her wearing what appears to be a black G-string monokini that leaves very little to the imagination, with the top part cross crossing across her front and barely covering her chest and the rest, well, wound all around her back, waist and butt.

She also sports black, glittering stiletto heels and cool shades.

And oh yeah, she's just chilling on a balcony. Or rather, as she says...

'American Sniper' smashes box office records

Source: foxnews.com

box office

“American Sniper” hit the bullseye, earning an astonishing $90.2 million in its debut weekend.

It is now on pace to decimate records for the Martin Luther King holiday and for the month of January, pulling in roughly $105 million over the four-day period. It’s also a new high-water mark for director Clint Eastwood, whose previous weekend record was the $29.5 million wide-release opening for 2008’s “Gran Torino.” At 84, he’s still got it.

“The movie has become a cultural phenomenon,” said Dan Fellman, Warner Bros. head of domestic distribution. “It tore apart the record book and not by a little. By an enormous amount.”

“American Sniper,” recently picked up Oscar nods for Best Picture and Best Actor for star Bradley Cooper, and the awards buzz only intensified interest in the film. The war drama was co-produced and co-financed by Village Roadshow for less than $60 million.

“American Sniper” wasn’t the only record-breaker. Sony and Screen Gems’ “The Wedding Ringer,” starring Kevin Hart as a best man for hire, is looking to be the number one R-rated comedy opening for the month of January. The film will earned $21 million for the weekend and should pick up $25 million for the four-day holiday. Those numbers are good news for a film that cost $23 million to produce. It also keeps Hart’s box office roll going following his success in recent hits such as “Ride Along” and “Think Like a Man.”

“Kevin Hart really is that guy that everybody wants to hang with,” said Rory Bruer, Sony Pictures president of worldwide distribution. “Not only is he always funny, but he’s that guy that you want to sit down and have a beer with. He exudes charisma.”

The Weinstein Co.’s “Paddington” opened to $19.3 million from 3,303 screens for the weekend and a third-place finish. By Monday, however, it could supplant “The Wedding Ringer” as the holiday’s second highest grossing film as it is also expected to earn roughly $25 million over the four-day period. The Weinstein Company picked up U.S. distribution rights from StudioCanal, which financed the $55 million adaptation of Michael Bond’s beloved series about a talking bear with a penchant for marmalade sandwiches.

“American Sniper’s” success was bad news for the weekend’s other adult drama, “Blackhat.” Michael Mann’s look at the way we hack now flopped, earning a doleful $4 million from 2,567 locations for the weekend and should make $4.6 million over the holiday. That’s a dreadful result for the $70 million production and the worst of Mann’s career. It’s lower even than the modest $10 million the studio projected “Blackhat” would pull in over the four-day period. Legendary Pictures backed the film, with Universal distributing.

The top five was rounded out by holdovers, “Taken 3″ and “Selma.” Liam Neeson’s latest vigilante flick fell sharply in its sophomore frame, dropping more than 60% to earn $14 million over the weekend and bringing its total to $62.8 million.

Despite being snubbed in several major Oscar categories, Paramount Pictures’ “Selma” seemed to capitalize on the Martin Luther King holiday, earning $8.3 million. It should earn $10.3 million over the four-day period. The Civil Rights drama has made nearly $28 million since premiering in limited release on Christmas.

Will Charlie Sheen make an appearance on final episode of 'Two and a Half Men?'

Source: foxnews.com

Charlie Sheen’s departure from “Two and a Half Men” was not pretty. He was fired after feuding with the show’s creator Chuck Lorre and when he left the successful sitcom Sheen called Lorre among other things a “little worm.” He was replaced by Ashton Kutcher.

But now rumors are swirling that Sheen may return for the final episode.

RadarOnline reports that at a press conference this week Lorre was surprisingly effusive when talking about Sheen, who was the highest paid actor on TV for his role as a lothario playboy.

“It would be inappropriate not to acknowledge our success with Charlie and how grateful I am and we are,” he said. “I have nothing but good feelings for those eight-and-a-half years.”

“The show has morphed into something else entirely for the last four years to something we love,” Lorre said. “How to honor both is the challenge of this finale, and the other challenge [is] how to get people to watch it without telling them what it is.

“I think you will be very, very pleased with the finale and that’s all I’m going to say about it,” he said.

This comes after the 49-year-old actor said in December that his dream, “is to be in the last scene of the last show” and to guest star “for the fans.”

First up? Angelina Julie, of course. The Unbroken director was radiant in a silver Atelier Versace gown. The dress featured curve-complimenting waist ruching, which is quickly becoming this awards season most popular trend.

Speaking of trends,  Emily Blunt continued another fad we saw at the 2015 Golden Globes: Red Dresses. The Into the Woods star wowed in a sparkling Emilio Pucci halter gown with Jimmy Choo clutch and Lorraine Schwartz gems.

Not to be outshined on the red carpet, Rees Whiterspoon turned heads in a Lanvin number that you can't fully appreciate until you see it from the back. Ah-maz-ing, right?

Rounding up the best looks of the night was the always flawless Diane Kruger, who delivered another jaw-dropping red carpet appearance in this printed Naeem Khan gown. Plus, we're giving a standing ovation to Selma's Carmen Ejogo (in Emilia Wickstead) for her head-to-toe style.

Call it Hollywood's first superhero movie based on a real person.

Fueled by patriotism and six Oscar nominations, Clint Eastwood's American Sniper is headed for a 105.2 million debut over the long Martin Luther King Jr. holiday weekend — the top opening ever for a non-tentpole and the biggest winter opening of all time. It's also the top four-day debut for an R-rated title.

American Sniper arguably boasts the biggest post-Oscar nominations bump in history. And, considering its broad appeal and blockbuster status, it should help boost ratings for the Academy Awards ceremony on Feb. 22.

It was one of 2014's biggest commercial hits, got rave reviews and scored a Golden Globe nomination, but The Lego Movie was shut out for Best Animated Feature Film at the Oscars. At least it scored a nomination for Best Original Song for "Everything Is Awesome"?

For the record, Phil Lord, the co-writer and director of The Lego Movie, was taking the snub in stride.

Every Oscar night is a memorable event celebrated worldwide but some Oscar incidents truly and genuinely surprise. Here are such surprises.

Oscar missed out on its chance to make history this year by not nominating Selma director Ava DuVernay, who would have become the first black woman recognized in that category. DuVernay herself predicted the omission last month, as she reveals in our feature story on the controversy around Selma’s poor performance in the nomination tally. And we address the criticisms directed at the Academy over the lack of diversity in this year’s lineup, which is the first all-white roster since 1998.

Amy Pascal Stepping Down As Sony Co-Chairman

Amy Pascal Stepping Down As Sony Co-Chairman, Sony Confirms – Update .The studio has just confirmed that Amy Pascal  is stepping down from her position as co-chairman of Sony Pictures  Entertainment and chairman of the Motion Picture Group, and that she will launch a new production venture at the studio Pascal will transition to the new venture in May.
Pascal, co-chairman of Sony Pictures and chairman of the Motion Picture Group, has been at the forefront of the hack attack scandal pretty much from the beginning, after the massive breach of company data was first revealed on November 24. Among the troves of documents made public by the hacking group were racially insensitive emails between Pascal and producer Scott Rudin about President Obama. In the private exchange, the two joked that the President’s favorite films are black-themed movies like *Django
Unchained* and *12 Years A Slave*. “I am mostly disappointed in myself,” Pascal told Deadline after she later broke her media silence on the matter. “That is the element of this that has been most painful for me. I don’t want to be defined by these emails, after a 30-year career; I was even willing to let it all happen. But I’m just not going to do that now. Clearly, there are things that you say in a rash moment without thinking them through, and it takes 10 seconds to say something stupid. When it’s blasted and it might become the way you are defined as a human being, I have to say it. It’s just wrong. It’s wrong about me. And it’s wrong to do to anyone.”

Johnny Depp And Amber Heard Reportedly Married

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have officially tied the knot, multiple sources are reporting.

Depp, 51, and Heard, 28, met on the set of the 2011 thriller "The Rum Diary." The pair was first romantically linked in 2012, and news of their engagement broke in January 2014, after Heard was spotted wearing an engagement ring.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean" star indirectly confirmed the engagement news to the Associated Press in March 2014, saying, "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway -- not very subtle," lifting up his hand to reveal a diamond band.

The wedding marks Heard's first marriage and Depp's second. The actor married makeup artist Lori Allison in 1983 before they separated two years later. Depp has two children with his former girlfriend Vanessa Paradis: Lily-Rose, 15, and Jack, 12.

Well ladies, it's time to face the music.

The 2015 Grammys red carpet had no shortage of eccentric, daresay horrendous outfits, so let's not waste time. Madonna put everything on display in matador-inspired Givenchy design, complete with a veiled topper and thigh-high boots. Oh, and needless to say the pop star could've used a bit more fabric on the bum. And let's not forget about Charli XCX, who looked back to Party Down for some caterer-chic style inspiration with her iridescent white Moschino suit.

Rihanna made a big entrance (literally) in a frothy Giambattista Valli Couture cupcake gown hot off the Paris Haute Couture runway. Note: RiRi's problem usually isn't an excess amount of fabric, and we're pleased the singer didn't arrive nearly nude. The same cannot be said for Joy Villa, however, who wrapped up in a traffic-orange mesh dress and nothing else. Yikes!

As for Jenny Lewis—where did she think she was going? This groovy multicolored pantsuit may work for a disco bash, but at the Grammys it's totally out of place

Kanye West, Not Beyonce, Was the Biggest Loser at the Grammys

Leave it to Kanye West to commend himself for having enough sense to do an aboutface inches away from the microphone on the Grammy Awards stage where Beck stood about to accept album of the year honors.

“That’s the reason why I didn’t say anything tonight, but you all know what it meant when Ye walked out on that stage!” he declared in a post-show press conference, just in case anyone didn’t understand that he insulted Beck on national television.

What West doesn’t seem to understand is what he did Sunday night was appalling. He owes an apology to Beck and the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, which should censure him for his disgraceful stunt.

Beck needs to respect artistry, and he should’ve given his award to Beyonce,” West declared. Though he later clarified he felt it was the Grammys that need to “respect artistry,” it’s ridiculous that he doesn’t see he’s the one who showed incredible disrespect in front of everyone at Staples Center and in the viewing audience.

Most galling of all, West depicted his actions Sunday as some kind of admirable self-restraint he demonstrated on behalf of his child. “I’m not gonna do nothing to put my daughter at risk, but I am here to fight for creativity,” he noted at the post-show show press conference.

Don’t delude yourself, Kanye. If you’re so worried about your daughter, think about the example you just set for her.

After almost two decades on the program, Jon is stepping down. Jon Stewart, who will retire as host of Comedy Central's 'The Daily Show' later this year, has had an immeasurable influence on American politics, media and satire, members of the Washington political establishment said Tuesday night.

After almost two decades on the program, Jon is stepping down.

"Few people in media had the ability to influence the political debate like Jon Stewart," Dan Pfeiffer, the longtime adviser to President Obama, told the On Media blog late Tuesday night.

"He essentially invented a new way to deliver the news that spoke a younger generation less trusting of the traditional sources, but still very interested in the world."

Fifty Shades of Grey is easily seducing the North American box office, grossing a potent $30.2 million Friday for a possible $80 million-plus debut over the long Valentine's Day and Presidents Day weekend.

Overseas, the results are even more astounding. The movie is opening to No. 1 in 56 markets for a projected $158.3 million international debut — the highest opening ever for an R-rated film and the second best for Universal after Fast & Furious 6 ($160.3 million).

Box Office Dominatrix: 'Fifty Shades' Nabs $30.2M Friday for Record $80M-Plus Debut

The weekend's second new release, Matthew Vaughn's Kingsman: The Secret Service, is no slouch either. The Fox film, earning a B+ CinemaScore, opened to an estimated $10.5 million on Friday for $38 million-$40 million debut, well ahead of expectations. Combined, the two movies should help deliver one of the best Presidents Day weekends of all time in terms of overall revenue.

Held each year at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Beverly Hills, Night of 100 Stars features greats from the stage and screen.

Norby Walters, the veteran music agent/producer, reprises his role as Dinner Chairman. Joining us again as Executive Producer of this event is billionaire clothing designer/manufacturer Peter Nygard, Founder and Chairman of Nygard International.

Night of 100 Stars brings out a packed crowd of celebs including Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winners. This black-tie event is party central for Hollywood’s elite with celebrities at past events including Jaimie Foxx, Jeff Goldblum, Sarah Silverman, Jon Hamm, David Hasselhoff, Bridget Fonda, Niel Simon, Peter Gallagher, and Alex Trebek.

Walters remained tight-lipped on who was actually attending this year, but added: “I say take a look at the website (nightof100stars.com). I’ve got 300 to 400 celebrities listed who have attended in the past; pick out any 100 and they will be there. A lot of actors come a couple of years in a row and then I don’t see them for a couple of years, but then they come back again.”

Walters said few $1,000 per person tickets remain.

“I think that it’s the most available game in town,” he said. “You can’t get into the Governor’s Ball (the official Oscars after-party), you can’t get into the Vanity Fair party, and Elton John’s party is $5,000 a ticket. We are the most available and truthfully we have more celebrities than what Elton John gets at his party. He usually gets 50 to 60 actors, but we always get 100 to 125. We present more stars for less money.”

He said the rest of the parties around L.A. were “lovely,” but added that they don’t have the power and excitement of Night of 100 Stars.

“Except for the Governor’s Ball, which is part of the Oscars itself, we are the longest running party in town,” Walters said. “We’re the grande old dame of Oscar parties.”

The Beverly Hilton Hotel and its International Ballroom is located at 9876 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills.

It’s going to be a gala night!

Stay tuned for our special report from Night of 100 Stars on Hello Hollywood TV

Bump in the red carpet!

Keira Knightley went for an effortless look in a plunging velvet Valentino Couture gown. And at nine-months pregnant, Molly Sims looked more amazing than ever in a sparkling sapphire Ezra Santos design.

Breaking an extended red carpet hiatus, Isla Fisher made a triumphant return last night in a classically feminine white gown with blue floral details. Jaime King made her bump-debut after announcing her pregnancy last week, looking extra cheerful in a flowing gold and white, floral-print Altuzarra creation. And keeping with the floral theme, Hilaria Baldwin made a powerful appearance in a mesmerizing halter dress.

While these looks are all fabulous, we must ask—which is your favorite?

The A-listers on the Oscars red carpet were the epitome of glamour and sophistication, with most of the stars looking elegant in their floor-length gowns.

However, the after-parties were a different affair altogether, with celebrities - some of whom who were not invited to the awards ceremony itself - trying their best to grab the limelight in revealing dresses and no underwear.

Rita Ora flashed her bottom in her see-through black gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar bash, while model Irina Shayk gave the singer a run for her money as the most daringly dressed in a gown that exposed half her body with only a few black panels to protect her modesty.

The U.S. box office is as glum this weekend as the dystopian future depicted in one of the new releases.

Although off to a soft start, Neill Blomkamp’s robot thriller “Chappie” is No. 1 at the box office, aiming for a lower-than-expected $13 million to $13.5 million this weekend, while the comedy “Unfinished Business” is giving star Vince Vaughn the worst opening weekend of his career.

Sony’s “Chappie” launched to $4.5 million on Friday in the U.S. Blomkamp’s third film is far behind his previous two (dystopian thrillers as well): “District 9,” which opened to $37.4 million in 2009, and “Elysium,” which launched to $29.8 million in 2013.

Made on a modest $49 million budget (financed partly by MRC and LStar Capital) and shot in South Africa, much like the low-budget hit “District 9,” the Johannesburg-set film could do better business overseas as it opens simultaneously in 53 markets, including the U.K., Germany, France and Russia.

“Chappie” finds Hugh Jackman, Dev Patel and Sigourney Weaver living in a society ruled by a mechanized police force. When one police android, Chappie (voiced by Sharlto Copley), is stolen and reprogrammed, he becomes the first bot with the ability to think and feel.

Fox’s R-rated comedy “Unfinished Business” opened to $1.8 million (behind two other Fox films, including the fourth weekend of “Kingsman: The Secret Service”) — on track for a disappointing $5 million weekend. It came in fifth on Friday, but stands to fall to eighth place, behind “Fifty Shades of Grey,” later this weekend.

Vaughn’s previous career low came just two years ago with “Delivery Man” (also directed by Ken Scott), which opened to $7 million in the U.S. It follows a slew of consecutive duds, including “The Dilemma” (2011), “The Watch” (2012) and “The Internship” (2013).

He had five comedies — “Dodgeball,” “Wedding Crashers,” “The Break-Up,” “Four Christmases” and “Couples Retreat” — cross $100 million between 2004 and 2009.

“Unfinished Business,” which was produced for $35 million and financed by New Regency, follows small-business owner Vaughn and his associates (Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco) on a disastrous business trip to Europe.

Another new entry, Fox Searchlight’s “The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel,” checked in to third place with $2.7 million on Friday, despite playing in just 1,563 theaters. The pic is up against “Kingsman: The Secret Service” for third on its way to an $8 million weekend stay.

The sequel to “The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel” is coming in above recent projections that were in the $7 million range. The original surprised with $46.4 million at the domestic box office in 2012 for a worldwide total of $136.8 million.

The ensemble comedy, which includes Judi Dench, Maggie Smith, Bill Nighy and Patel, has already opened overseas, bringing in $5.8 million in the U.K. and $3.2 million in Australia.

Will Smith’s “Focus” was runner-up, earning $2.9 million on Friday after opening to a muted No. 1 last weekend. Warner Bros.’ crime drama aims to gross $9.5 million-plus by Sunday.

“Kingsman: The Secret Service” came in fourth on Friday with $2.2 million in its fourth frame, but will likely work its way up to third with north of $8 million this weekend.

Paramount’s “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water” rounded out the weekend’s top five, raking in an estimated $1.4 million on Friday for a weekend of about $7 million, which would raise it cume to just under $150 million.

This weekend continues the last two weekends’ box office slump. It’s down 40% from this time last year, when “300: Rise of an Empire” grossed $45 million and “Mr. Peabody & Sherman” reeled in $32.2 million.

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. –  Sean Penn opened up about the green card joke heard 'round the world on Saturday in Beverly Hills during a promotional tour for his new film "The Gunman," saying that he has "absolutely no apologies" for his comment. The actor-director also offered up choice words for those who didn't recognize the irony in his remarks.

On Feb. 22 at the 87th Academy Awards, Penn, tasked with presenting the best picture award, made waves when he opened the envelope and first asked "Who gave this son of a bitch his green card?" before announcing the winner as "Birdman."

Directed by the Mexican-born Alejandro Iñárritu, many wondered whether the joke was distasteful. The term "green card" refers to a document that confers permanent residency on immigrants in the United States.

"I found it hilarious," Iñárritu said after the ceremony. "Sean and I have that kind of brutal (relationship) where only true friendship can survive."

Iñárritu directed Penn in the 2003 film "21 Grams" and the two remain close to this date.

"I make on him a lot of very tough jokes that I will not tell you," Iñárritu added.

While Iñárritu's casual dismissal of any perceived offense helped to temper the public response to the comment, Penn has remained largely silent on the topic.

"I'm always surprised by flagrant stupidity. I keep having more hope," said Penn of the widespread outrage that followed the moment.

"The fact is that I understand it. I see it all the time. When somebody sees the opportunity to frame something in the comfort that it will be common_that they can do that and they can get a group to look at them and that they will take on those positions and never really think about what it was," he added.

"I have absolutely no apologies," Penn said with calm resolve.

"In fact, I have a big (expletive) you for every...anybody who is so stupid not to have gotten the irony when you've got a country that is so xenophobic," he said. "If they had their way, you wouldn't have great filmmakers like Alejandro working in this country. Thank god we do."

Penn also clarified that the order of his comments were intentional.

"There's a little inside humor with he and I where I know, and wanted to know, that he would be the first person in that room to know that his film won," he said.

The sexiest Met Gala red carpet ever? Yes. It was a nearly-naked style showdown as Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez and Kim Kardashian let it all hang out at last night's Met Gala.

Who Had the Best Naked Dress of the Night at the 2015 Met Gala?

The Cannes Film Festival, opened Wednesday evening in France, boasts the most high-profile international red carpet next to the Oscars. Lupita Nyong’o was the belle of the ball at the opening night premiere of the film “Standing Tall,”  twirling for the cameras in her one-of-a kind Gucci jade green chiffon plisse gown with cape detail featuring embroidered crystals and hand-painted pink and blush silk flowers.

The custom creation was designed by Alessandro Michele, who took over as Gucci’s creative director in January, bringing a decidedly more eccentric vision to the luxury powerhouse, which seemed to be expressing itself, ever so slightly, in the offbeat hue and over-the-top, jewelry-like embroidery on this gown.

Disney has begun moving toward a sequel to Maleficent, the 2014 blockbuster fairy tale that starred Angelina Jolie as the winged title character.

The studio has engaged Linda Woolverton to write the sequel, and the studio is keeping Jolie in the loop and that the sequel will be written for her to reprise.  Roth is back as the film’s producer, and it’s unclear whether Robert Stromberg will be back. He’s the Oscar-winning production designer who made his directing debut.

According to Deadline Hollywood, Maleficent would be a major priority for the studio’s revisionist fairy tale slate. It was a pricey film at a reported $180 million, but Maleficent grossed nearly $760 million worldwide.

Tangerine is a 2015 independent comedy-drama film directed by Sean S. Baker and written by Baker and Chris Bergoch. Tangerine, is a story about people who live in constant chaos, in an unsafe and harsh America where not everyone gets sterling silver from the man in the North pole. The movie is a visually stunning achievement about friendship, heartbreak, and the sub-cultures that make up a particular community of the L.A. area with focus on two transgender prostitutes.

The film was shot entirely on three iPhone 5s.  Mike Leigh and John Cassavetes were major influences and it shows.

The horse race for Spider-Man is over.  Tom Holland won custody of Marvel’s flagship superhero costume — and it looks like he may have used Instagram to land the job.

“For Spidey himself, we saw many terrific young actors, but Tom’s screen tests were special. All in all, we are off to a roaring start.” said Tom Rothman, Sony Pictures Motion Pictures Group Chairman, upon announcement.

Trainwreck, starring and written by Amy Schumer, chronicles the adventures of its leading character, Amy, as she runs through sexual encounters as a way to protect herself and stay true to her and her career as a journalist. When her boss  assigns her a story to feature a young sports surgeon, she falls in love.

Trainwreck is Judd Apatow's best film, Amy's second screenplay, in the wonderful realism and recognizability of Amy's character. The film delivers on every level of the emotional scale. It will make you laugh and it will make you cry. It's a very funny, semi-autobiographical, well-crafted script. Worth your money+

For years, movies and television have done a great job keeping us all entertained. But recently, Dustin Hoffman stated that small budgets is one of the problems affecting high-quality dramatic movies. Because of this, less time and focus is being spent on script development and shooting. Meanwhile, television is at its peak. Sounds like movies need to step up their game.

-The drought in California is at an all time high. Governor, Jerry Brown, has ordered for water usage to be cut 25% statewide, but some celebrities don't feel as though they apply to this rule. Tom Selleck has been sued for stealing truckloads of water for his avocado farm. Other celebrities are also in hot water (pun intended), such as: Kim Kardashian, Cher, and Jennifer Lopez. Cartel Land is a  jaw-dropping documentary directed by  Mattew Heinman. The documentary plays like a tense and beautifully crafted thriller, all the more chilling because it's real, it’s about two vigilante groups, on opposite sides of the U.S.-Mexico border, trying to stave off Mexican drug cartels.

How can you tell Good from Evil in Cartel Land?

The director was also one of the two cameramen, putting themselves right in the middle of a merciless drug war, shootouts and all. One of the most important  and daring documentaries of the year.

-Hollywood has a reputation of their actresses being no larger than a size 2. Image is pretty much everything when it comes to the acting industry. Recently, Jennifer Lawrence opened up about the ignored truth when it comes to weight loss. She'd like to see more opportunities for women but it's difficult when society has a specific image in mind. She has been blessed with many opportunities that she now doesn't have to deal with the pressures of weight loss as much as she did, but for those who aren't established yet, Hollywood body shaming is very much alive.

Is Jennifer Lopez the new Benjamin Button? The mogul appeared at her 46th birthday party in the Hamptons over the weekend looking hotter — and younger! — than ever. She sported a black sheer cutout dress by little known L.A.-based designer Bao Tranchi, whose custom creations have also adorned the backs of Rita Ora and Demi Lovato as well as Serena Gomez and Sereyah McNeil in T.Swifty’s “Bad Blood” music video.

This Is 46. Jennifer Lopez Wows In a Sheer Cutout Dress

(Sans Underwear) For Her Birthday Party

So what makes this look so interesting? Let’s start with the cutouts. The clavicle we get. The ones near her boobs? Caliente! The gaping side cutouts that showed off her abs, hip bones, and lower back? That’s next-level sexiness. Not every 46-year-old (or any-year-old) woman could make this work, but J.Lo, who clearly clocks a lot of hours with her personal trainer, clearly has no issue flaunting what she’s worked so hard to achieve.

Speaking of flaunt, as if the cutouts were not enough, this particular frock is also extremely low cut and basically see-through. If it wasn’t for the strategically-placed panels, it could almost be considered a sheer body stocking. Not that J.Lo cares what anyone thinks. Let’s not forget her iconic green Versace dress that she wore to the Grammy Awards 15 years ago or even her custom Atelier Versace gown at this year’s Met Ball. (Truth be told, she was probably wearing the same adhesive undergarment.) Also, with her on-again-off-again-on-again beau, Casper Smart, on her arm, the birthday babe from the Bronx was free to booty shake on the dance floor without incident.

Bobbi Kristina's death was caused by  a toxic cocktail in which her then boyfriend Nick Gordon gave her, and when she fell into unconsciousness he put her face down in the bath tub, announced Kristina's lawyer.

The attorney filed a $40 million lawsuit against Nick  in June, but court documents just filed in the case outline shocking allegations. He  also have a criminal case filed against him.

The suit says Gordon began screaming at Bobbi Kristina, accusing her of cheating and calling her a "whore and bitch."Their argument then went from room to room, and at some point the suit claims Gordon gave Bobbi Kristina a "toxic cocktail" that rendered her unconscious, which later led to death.

The Los Angeles premiere of "Straight Outta Compton" after party took place earlier this week at  L.A. Live.

Uniformed Los Angeles police officers attendedthe "Compton" premiere and its after-party next door. The film shows the origins of rap group N.W.A. and their seminal 1988 album, "Straight Outta Compton."

Invited guests had to navigate  through metal detectors before picking up their tickets for Monday night's world premiere at the Microsoft Theatre at LA Live.

Universal Pictures, which will release the film nationwide Friday, did not say what prompted the additional security measures.

While the movie was being filmed, mogul Suge Knight reportedly visited the set and argued with several men there. Knight then allegedly followed the men after they left the film set and ran over two men in a parking lot, leaving one man dead. Knight is currently in jail awaiting trial.

The extra security at the film also follows various attacks at cinemas this summer, including a June shooting in Louisiana, a hatchet attack this month in Tennessee and an incident Monday involving a leaf-blower at a theater in Newport Beach, Calif.
